Our Mission

To ensure that patients in Barbados and the Caribbean have access to state of the art medical care for complex orthopaedics and spine conditions.

Goals of FOCOS-B

Public education and raising the awareness of scoliosis and other complex orthopaedic conditions.

Facilitate opportunities for continuing medical education in orthopaedics for all members of the health care team.

To support and encourage the creation of a Department of Orthopaedics at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in order to enhance the delivery of care for complex musculoskeletal conditions.

To raise funds to assist the Department of Orthopaedics in providing services to patient with complex musculoskeletal problems.
